Adult Swim’s apology was a load of bullshit. They should have defended what they did. The whole thing really just highlights the type of reactionary absurdism that happens these days. Fox News is talking about how “You just can’t do this sort of thing in a post-9/11 world”, and Adult Swim, who’s target demographic are 17 to 27 year olds, has the perfect soapbox to say “Hey, people, look!, the people who run things are idiots, stop being so afraid of everything!”, but all they do is take the blame. Not even a single joke.

The guy’s been arrested now. He has an absolutely FANTASTIC name, Peter Berdovsky, a MassArt student. I’ve found a movie of him making and erecting the ads. Goddamn white people with dreadlocks! It’ll be an interesting case to follow.

Also, apparently the image up on CNN’s homepage is a censored one. They took out the three LEDs where his middle finger was. Can’t have that kind of filth on television, only senseless fear mongering!
